Spechtensee / Wörschachwald
The lake, which is surrounded by a highmoor and lies at an altitude of about 1050 m, has a depth of up to 11 meters. In the summer it reaches a water heating up to 23 degrees.
Odensee / Pichl-Kainisch
The lake at 780 m above sea level and a maximum depth of 19 m is a typical forest bog lake surrounded by dense forest and a lush beach vegetation.

This lake is located in Altaussee, in the heart of the Styrian Salzkammergut. A beautiful circular trail leads along the 2.9 km long and 1.1 km wide lake, framed by foothills of the Totengebirge in the north, east and partly also in the south.
