Our "Pfannerhütte" is a very popular destination especially because of our great terrace and our weekly barbecue evenings. Our hotel guests are invited to join us for the barbecue evenings as part of the half board at the Seebacherhof.

The "Steirischen Salzkammergut" has plenty on offer even during bad weather conditions. Shopping in Bad Aussee, a visit to the caves of the "Dachstein", the salt mine or to the hot spring complex "Aldiana Grimmingtherme" - many activities are waiting to be explored.

Dachstein-Eishöhlen

This impressing ice cave with 30.000 m³ ice is one of the world's largest glacial caves. Walk through the underground hallways with its "King Artus" dome, the "Parzifal" dome and the "Tristan" dome.

Salzwelten Altaussee, Hallstatt, Bad Ischl

Big illuminated underground saline lakes and the glimmering salt crystal chamber are only a few of the numerous interesting attractions, which are offered by the "Salzwelten Altaussee".

Bad Ischl - The emperor's mansion and park

The most popular guest of Bad Ischl, Emperor Franz Joseph, spent about 60 summers in this beautiful "Biedermeier" mansion surrounded by a vast park.  Explore the stunning premises and enjoy the splendour of this manor house.

Open air museums, archaeological excavation, memorials and historic buildings - the "Salzkammergut" offers more than 145 museums. Please also pay a visit to the "Gmundner" ceramics manufactory. Here pottery is still produced as 300 years ago. Each peace is painted by hand and finished with care.
